Wholesale growers of Bromeliads, Woody Ornamentals, and trees since 1938.

The wholesale outlet at 9491 Rockhill Road - near Fowler Avenue and U.S. 301 - offers a rainbow array of plants, shrubs and trees, all meticulously kept.

This family endeavor began in 1938 on a 3-acre plot at Sligh Avenue and 28th Street. Hillsborough county's oldest nursery, Meyer's remains the favorite of a wide range of customers. It is currently a 25 acre operation with 100 varieties in production, principally woody ornamentals, shade trees, and bromeliads. Meyer's Nurseries supplies area landscape contractors, schools and other public agencies, and theme parks.

CONTRACT GROWING
We also offer contract growing to your specifications. This is an effective way to insure that your needs will be fulfilled, regardless of current market conditions. Please contact our nursery for further details.

COMPANY POLICY

  • Prices subject to change without notice.

  • All prices F.O.B. Nursery.

  • Those firms paying by check or open account must be licensed and bonded.

  • Delivery can be arranged for full truck load quantities; COD on all new customers.

  • Credit accounts accepted only if you are bonded and licensed, and application is made and approved prior to purchase.

  • 2% interest per month will be charged on all invoices not paid by the 10th of the month following purchase.

  • Cash only for accounts 60 days past due.

  • A $20.00 service charge will be added to all returned checks.

  • A $35.00 unloading fee will be charged if there is not adequate help in unloading when plants are delivered.

RESERVING ORDERS
A 25% deposit is required for orders to be reserved for no more than 2 weeks. If not picked up by that date, the deposit will be forfeited and the material returned to inventory.
